Exil des idoles is a spoken word poetry album in French language, the first collaboration between composer Jean-Sully Ledermann and author Shaomi.

In 45 minutes and seven tracks, Exil des idoles explores the theme of unfulfilled desires. Carried by Jean-Sully Ledermann's spellbinding sonic textures, Shaomi's poetry unveils the darkest corners of the human soul, from frustration and conflict to resolution.

Trained in jazz and classical music, Jean-Sully Ledermann discovered electronic music in the late 90's. Since then, he's released 35 solo and collaborative albums and composed several performance soundtracks. He's also a director, a scriptwriter, a novelist and an actor. He lives and works near Paris. Shaomi has published two books and experimented with virtually every form of writing, from scripts to literature. He's taken part in numerous multidisciplinary improvisation performances, published three magazines and organized several dozens of cultural events. Originally from Lyon, he's been living in Asia since 2010 (Cambodia, India and now China). More at shaomi.in
